Community Impact

Keeping the school open. Keeping Main Street alive.

For Levi, the work was never only about profit. It was about a community that can support more small producers — which support more local businesses, which keep the local school open and give the next generation a chance to farm.

We are communities of farmers. We all want the same thing — for our schools to not close, and for the businesses on Main Street to remain viable for generations to come.

How Levi Shows Up

Leadership where he's planted

Sharing the Tools

Levi rents his roller-crimper to neighboring organic farmers and takes his Weed Zapper field to field to do other producers' headlands.

Advocacy & Education

He speaks to local and statewide organizations about regenerative transition and carbon, working to unify farmers around shared goals.

Research Partnerships

His joint work with Iowa State and the University of Wisconsin turns one farm's experiments into knowledge the whole region can use.

The Next Generation

Every practice is chosen with an eye toward leaving the possibility for future generations to keep farming this ground.
